Machine Operator

Machine Operator - Bluescope Lysaght

Work Type: Casual on-going, Monday-Thursday from 7am-3:30pm, Friday from 7am-1pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor steel processing machines
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot machinery issues
• Conduct product quality checks and follow safety protocols
• Work collaboratively with the production team
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Operate a forklift (valid ticket required)

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous machine operation experience (steel industry highly regarded)
• Understanding of machine maintenance and fault finding
• High attention to detail and safety-conscious approach
• Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment
• Current forklift licence (essential)
• Own vehicle to commute to work
• Ability to successfully complete a drug and alcohol screen
